Philip's Review:

Rich nose of cherries and leather. Very mineral, with tart cherry flavors and raspberry notes. Nice toffee notes on the finish.

Melons and cantaloupe on the nose with some classic Alsatian rubbery minerality. Classically oily with firm acids. Fruit of white peaches. Strong peach and nectarine notes on the finish. Well priced.

Cool flavors of currants (red currant) with a nice mineral body. Soft forest floor flavors behind this. I had it served chilled.

Very nice - make no bones about its sweetness, its clearly a demi-sec, which although it translates as "semi-sweet", actually means "fairly-sweet". The wine is very soft, well rounded and smooth with flavors of passion fruits and some nice currant notes.

Clean and crisp with a lemony character. Not biting unlike some other champagnes, the yellow label is very drinkable. Smooth with soft biscuit notes on the finish.

Tried along with the '88 Brut Blanc. This wine, while still rich and powerful, was much softer than the blanc, with flavors of redcurrants and a smooth, creamy feel.

Has a fantastic nose of armagnac and brandy - really intense and intriguing. This is a powerful wine. Very crisp, clean and tart, with lemon flavors and a really racy finish. Very nice.

Fine mousse of bubbles and a delicate nose of cherries. This rose is soft and smooth and goes down very easily. There is a slight yeast flavor, but its faint. Very nice.

Floral nose with a crisp spritz of acidity on the tongue. Good emollient structure and nice mouthfeel. Finishes on gooseberry notes.

Philip's Review:

A very appealing nose of red apples balanced with the right amount of oak. A soft spiciness finishes the wine and rounds it out well.
