    Philip's Review:

Nice champagne, well aged, soft and subtle with a very nice texture. To be honest I was celebrating so it went down quick...

Chocolatey nose that's very mineral. Good acidity and firm tannins work well with this very fruity wine. Main flavors of blackberry, leather and licorice.

Still as tasty as ever. Fantastically priced for a wine of this quality. Off dry, but with great acidity, which keeps the wine lively and taught. Beautiful flavors of peach, mango and other tropical fruits, this is a fantastic wine and highly recommended

Chemically licorice nose - which didnt excite me. However, in the mouth its a lot nicer with fat fruity flavors of bing cherry, and blackberry. Nice chocolate, cedar and vanilla flavors. Toasted marshmallow and bread on the finish, with more Christmas spice and vanilla. Nice

    Philip's Review:

A nice meaty nose bursting with dark fruits. Very fruity, very nice - lots of structure, tastes like there's some cab which is giving it that structure.

Black fruits mix with an earthy, leathery nose. Thick concentrated juice. Very musty, earthy and tannic. The wines still young, but shows excellent potential. Lots of acidity on the finish.

Rich and emollient. A nice mineral finish. Very good and complex with great minerality. Finishes on red apples and lemon notes. My #2 of the tasting (of 6 chardonnay's).

    Philip's Review:

Delicate lemony nose with hints of honeysuckle. Well balanced with great flavors of tropical fruits and a nice long fruity finish. Excellent and my pick of the tasting (6 chardonnay's). Very fruity for a Macon Village.

  • Philip's Review:

Surprisingly grassy nose for a chardonnay, with hay and green apple aromas. Great mouthfeel, this is a voluptuous wine thats rich and smooth. Full of fat tropical fruit flavors. Slightly lacking in acidity, the wine comes across a little rich and flabby. Finishes on peaches and mango.

  • Philip's Review:

A good solid wine. Well priced and with consistently good fruit and medium tannins. There's a reason why the company was sold for over $1bn.
