Much better than expected. A nice mix of Zinfande, Merlot and Cabernet. A bottle that you just open and enjoy right away. Doesn't need too much time to open, fresh and ripe, jam taste.

Tase of black cherry and rose. Balanced fruit with a mineral taste and a tense of rhurbarb in my opinion.

Nose of black cherries, mushrooms and vanillia and smoke. The taste could be a little bit more fruity and for my opinion the aftertaste is a little bit to bitter. I definitely enjoyed the wine. It is not overpowered and opend up really nicely, but it could be slightly more powerful in fruit.

I have rarely smelled such an intense older smell, pure flower. The nutmeg is not as intense as you expect. Great wine from Styria, southern Austria. The wine perfectly suits to start of a nice dinner.

This wine was recommended to me by my local wine merchant for Thanksgiving.It really went great with the turkey but I can also see the wine going well with Steak and roasted meat in general. 2008: 93 Points WS, 24$.
