    MarioRobles' Review:

This is a fantastic wine, all those flavours literally explode in your mouth... all kinds of citrus (Lime, Orange, Lemon, etc) with the righ balance of acidity and crisp which make your palate dance. A very long finish... it cries out for some oysters dressed with a Thai light marinade... 93pts

    MarioRobles' Review:

Tasted in Nov-09, great aged characters without the kerosene so usual in aged Riesling. Nutty characters intermingled with ripe pears dominating the palate, a wine to accompany some dried muscats, brie and dried fruits. drink soon though...

A great wine to say the least, nice fruit weight, oak and power... and, surprinsingly, with finesse! this wine is everything Barossa Shiraz is famous for!

  • MarioRobles' Review:

I had this wine with Greek food and I was impressed, it does not blow you away but a very smartly assembled wine, great fruit and minimal oak to support and balance; a classic kiwi Pinot! and great value.

Nice shiraz with chocolate/cherry flavours (Cherryripe, if you are Australian); nicely handled oak and smooth tannins. more an everyday/BBQ wine

    MarioRobles' Review:

tasted it in November 09, and it still has it! nice fruit and American oak providing a straight to your face style ... what I would call a 'quaffer plus' - a little too one-dimensional but nice fruit with 10+ years more of life ahead of it.

  • MarioRobles' Review:

The nose is a little restrained and varietal, steely and pungent - as a five year-old Semillon (optimum age for aged Semillon) it has developed nicely and balanced (probably due to the screwcap). Stylish with beautiful lemon/lime flavours. Love it!

  • MarioRobles' Review:

Great French/Rhone focused wine, oak, fruit, soft tannins all in balance; this is a great wine, enjoy on its own or along good food. The sort of wine you take out for guests that have an educated palate and/or don't like overpowering reds. There is also plenty of spice to entertain all audiences.
