Spicy to moderate finish- very astringent and highly acidic, still apparent after an hour or two.

Opened for one hour and then poured. Nothing really going on at first but then after another hour of air time, the aromas and tastes became apparent. Needs more time in the cellar. THis is going to require patience. One of the most complex Cantemerle's I have tasted as of yet.

Nice caramel color some boytritis and wood on the nose. I was hoping for some almond flavors but it fell rather flat on the palate. Could be past its prime.

Some good fruit sweet with hints of leather. Elegant but we thought that it aged too fast due to the storage conditions.

Nice fruit on the nose medium acid, great balance. Some hints of cedar and berry flavors for the fruit. A great mature Bordeaux. Even after an hour it still held together.

Opened up and let air for about 30 minutes. At first, there was some leather like qualities that picked up on in the glass. On first taste there was evidence of ample fruit with mild acidity giving rise to a moderate finish. I found a nice balance of both fruit and some oak, but not overwhelming. I will finish the bottle on the second night to see if any additional notes come to mind. A great wine for the vintage. Drink up (89 pts.)

The bottle was held upright for at least an hour for sediment. Upon opening, in which the cork fell apart, there was some notice of fuk and must aromas. Upon initial taste there was some to little fruit which was followed by a large amount of acid. Some hints of cedar box and berry flavors which give rise to a long finish. Others in my group agreed and thus we determined that the bottle was stored properly but that it was past its prime.
