    Lindy Hemsley's Review:

Rhone character in the herbs and spices here, but more New World-style in being all about the deliciously warm fruit . Light-med bodied, though, so not rich or heavy.

    Lindy Hemsley's Review:

An instant almond rush on nose. In mouth, citrus fruit then distinctly floral right at the back of an extremely deep palate. Oak ageing gives a toasted nutty finish, ending with a refreshing touch of bitterness.

  • Lindy Hemsley's Review:

Sweet chocolatey blackcurrant fruit freshened with a hint of crisp green veg and light mouthfeel. A whisper of liquorice on the finish.

  • Lindy Hemsley's Review:

Soft red fruit, smooth texture, and an unusual, highly appealing sweet/savoury character to which I frustratingly cannot put a name. Suggestions please.

  • Lindy Hemsley's Review:

"How 'off-dry'?" I wondered, deliberating over this. Then bought it, as Loosen never lets me down. And he didn't. It's barely off-dry at all, just crisp apple and grape fruitiness. So zesty it's almost spritzed. Not a complex riesling, hardly expected to be at 6.99, but a very drinkable one. A perfect aperitif.

    Lindy Hemsley's Review:

A lesson in the need to pair with the right food. Seemed closed, even after decanting, until paired with roast lamb. Then initial muted cedar came to the fore with plum fruit and pencil shavings. Drink up right now, on the way out.

    Lindy Hemsley's Review:

Kicked self for decanting this knowing it was at end of life. Decanting killed the fruit and left just acid and tannin. Eventually developed a nice vegetal savouriness. Acid was tempered by roast partridge which proved an excellent match.

  • Lindy Hemsley's Review:

Cherry fruit nose and at first on palate. A bit smoky then pure raspberry kicks in like a glass of squeezed raspberry fruit. Offset by the smoky earthiness for balance and finesse.Highly silky mouthfeel.

  • Lindy Hemsley's Review:

Fooled into thinking off-dry at first but, no, its crisp acid keeps the floral fruit in kilter. Layers and layers of complexity: kerosene, tobacco, minerals. Endlessly entertaining.

  • Lindy Hemsley's Review:

Lives up to its name with a floral fruit nose and palate (possibly jasmine?) Perfectly dry with a slightly bitter refreshing finish. Different and highly appealing.
