Intense ruby red. Beautiful cherries and red berries on the nose, ebbing into dried roses and spice. Fruit forward with floral undertones. Warm, soft on the palate, with good structure and tannins. This is a young estate run by a local family. I am looking forward to their first Brunello...

Yellow staw colour. Clean bouquet of apple, peaches and dried herbs. Crisp fresh acidity. Apricots and walnuts in the mouth. Great price:quality

Dark and silky, seductive and complex. Leather, liquorice, succulent fruit. Smooth and long finish. Amazing quality but only to be expected from an estate that gives as much time in wood to their Rosso as the DOCG requires for Brunello (2 years). Viva Piero Palmucci!

Fruit forward with prominent maraschino cherry. Spicy toasted aromas create a complex and intense bouquet. Silky soft wiht pleasant tannins. Lingering length and finish. Still extremely vibrant in 2009 tasting

Light gold with a greeny hint when tilted. Peaches and granny smith on the nose, in the mouth a hint of acacia and sage. Dry, very balanced, ripe fruit with citrus and floral notes. Long, deliciously oily finale.

Deep ruby with garnet hues, great concentration and structure. The nose is very textured with variegated layers of deep aromas going from cranberry and elderberry before broadening to spice, cinnamon, leather and tobacco. Balsamic notes on the finale. Intricate and elegant with enormous potential for further bottle aging. Balanced and complex in the mouth with a strong character.
