Added Dec 23, 2007 at 12:23pmA good, inexpensive bottle. I've been drinking Chateau Ste Michelle Cabs since 1982 and they have been consistently good. Not the kind of wine you serve for your anniversary, but a good Friday night wine with a movie.

Added Dec 23, 2007 at 12:21pmI loved the 2001 Mas La Plana. I've only tried the 2003 once. It was a bit young for me. I'm holding two bottles to try in 2008. It is hard to say right now whether it will improve significantly.

Added Dec 23, 2007 at 12:20pmOne of my favorite non-California Cabernets. I've tried this wine several times and it has consistently pleased. It isn't as big as some of the California wines, but it has complexity and a very nice finish that allows different flavors to linger long after tasting.

Added Dec 23, 2007 at 12:17pmBig, heavy oak cabernet. Some of my friends thought it was too oaky, but I really like it. I think it can stand another year (2007 now) at least. I've tried about six bottles of a case I bought in 2005 and it is still showing heavy tannins. Deep black ruby color. needs to breathe.

Added Dec 23, 2007 at 12:13pmIn a blind taste test among friends, this wine outscored two very good Italian Sangiovese. I bought it at the vineyard in 2005 and it has proven to be one of my favorite Sangiovese of all time.

Added Dec 23, 2007 at 12:11pmThe Sangiovese from Steltzner is better against the competition, but this Cabernet is also very good. I've only got two bottles left from a case I bought in 2005.

Added Dec 23, 2007 at 12:08pmI've been drinking this wine for close to two years and still have a case left. It has consistently impressed with its structure. I'm guessing it still has a couple of years to go.

Added Dec 23, 2007 at 12:06pmClose to the 2002 Argos as my favorite wine from Dutch Henry. This wine is ready to drink now (2007). I've got a case of it left and I'm looking forward to enjoying it over the next couple of years.
Added Dec 23, 2007 at 12:03pmCould probably use another year to 2008. Big, bold and can spit out the splinters if you don't let it breathe for at least an hour. I've tried four bottles and it is just starting to come into its own.

Added Dec 23, 2007 at 12:02pmI've been drinking this one for two years. Needs decanting for at least two hours. My guess is that it is only going to be very good for another year as we have had a couple of bottles that are showing signs of flatness on the finish, although the nose is still great.

Added Dec 23, 2007 at 12:00pmWe've tried six different cabernet blends from Dutch Henry and the 2002 Argos is the best. Bordeaux style, with very nice nose and long finish.
