    Kheldarstl's Review:

Aroma: blueberry, black cherry, spice, pepper.Flavor: Blueberry, Spice, watermelon, pepper, raspberry, black pepper, fairly complex for price , medium body, slightly acidic, medium to light tannins, Might have some aging potential (8 - 10 years) All in all I like it, corbieres is one of my "go-to" inexpensive wines, because it is similar to Rhone wines including CDP and in many cases cheaper. This wine is fairly complex, much more so then one should expect from a $10 bottle.

    Kheldarstl's Review:

Very Very Nice Aussie Shiraz, Assertive nose, some pepper, spice, smoke, and fruit., licorice, even, very complex.Taste - Big, pepper, leather, smoke, berry- upfront - blending to a nice spicy blackberry finish, incredibly long finish including some blueberry, pepper, and blackberry.Comments - I like it, I really really, really, like it....Like most of the best Aussie Shiraz's this one is a big bomb of flavour and complexity, I especially like the way this wine finishes, it i snot too warming (even though it clocks in at 15% ABV) but lingers extremely long, for a shiraz. Overal a wonderful wine - I would rate it a 92 ( Points off for high alcohol, and some slight warming) Overall an excellent wine - which I would definately try again.

    Kheldarstl's Review:

Decanted two hours prior to drinking - served with Medium Rare Roast beef.Aroma- cherry, choclolate, mint.Flavor - Cherry, choclate, some earthy tones. Not bad, resonably priced, went well with the Beef, stood up quite well even to a little horseradish. I must say I was quite plesed, not as complex I usually prefer.

    Kheldarstl's Review:

Wine was decanted tasted at a wine shop in St. Louis.Color was rich purply red, Complex aroma Blackberries, blueberries, cherry, chocolate, eucalyptus(faint) Flavor - Nice strong blackberry, flowing into chocolate cherry, very complex blend, well balanced, nice acidity (even after 9 years) good tannins, long long long finish, faintest hint of eucalyptus in the finish.Commentary - I like it, I like it alot, very well blended and complex wine, nice blended fruit notes, extremely long finish, reminded me of a port in that aspect. If you should be lucky enough to find a bottle - buy it.92 Points

    Kheldarstl's Review:

I agree,it is what it is, an excellent starter Burgundy, Decent wine for the price, reputable producer. Has Pinot flavor, and adequately expresses the general terroir of Burgundy, and the price doesn't bankrupt you.
