    KeLuke's Review:

A great and sturdy Alsatian every day white. Nice balance between the mixture of varietals. I can't get enough Chasselas lately, so this wine does it for me! Floral and aromatic with a great contrast between tart and mellow.

    KeLuke's Review:

Tasted the 05 at their tasting room back in October, fell in love, and brought a few bottles home. Still blown away by the outstanding and velvety balance of this wine. Round and full on the palate, this wine melts in your mouth. It's all green and herbal with just a hint of dark red cherries on the finish.

This is a solid Oregon effort. It has that great musky forest floor and spice nose with just the right amount of red fruit without smelling like cranberry juice. There's a fun balance between cream and acidity in here. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other wines.

I am such a fan of Greg Brewer and Steve Clifton, their dynamic as a team is one of the reasons their wines are so incredible. Once you've visited the S.R.H area and felt the micro-climates and put your hands in the soil, you really appreciate why these grapes that are grown across the street from each other make wines that taste so different. The Clos Pepe is a great sturdy pinot. Voluptous and forward with a subtle softness, it's decidedly feminine yet indestructable ala Diana Prince. I'm looking forward to the 09' though, since I helped stomp it!

Yummy, chewy, sexy spicy goodness. I am a huge fan of the Santa Rita Hills area. What they do to Burgundian wines makes me proud to be an American. Having recently returned from Harvest at Melville (also Brewer-Clifton and Palmina) I can say we came home with some fantastic bottles and I can't wait to get my hands on the 09'....because my feet have already been on it...

    KeLuke's Review:

This is one of our favorite wine purchases of the year. Dark cherries and smoky meats on the nose with a hint of tobacco/mint, medium finish that hits every point in your mouth and is very very well balanced. We recently bought two bottles and had three more earlier in the year and all 5 were the same. This wine isn't anything out of the ordinary but seeing as everyone we've had over has tasted it and loved it I'd say it's an extremely well made friendly wine that anyone can get along with. It's the hot friendly cheerleader.
