A nice wine but nothing exceptional. The wine has a nice spicy aroma but it seems to disappoint with a mild almost forgettable taste. We got it for $19.99 at Bottle Barn but a more fair value would see this wine in the $12 range where I would find it more desirable.

A top 100 wine this year by SF Chronicle. I very much enjoyed the wine, it is not too overpowering but provides a nice aroma and mouth feel. We paired this with short ribs and polenta and it was excellent.

The wine is too dry for a merlot. It has a nice fruity aroma but the taste left me feeling shortchanged. There is some spice in the taste but not the typical fruit of a merlot. The wine seemed over priced at $19.99.

A great petite sirah from Mutt Lynch winery. The color and aroma are excellent and entice you to want to taste the wine. Then when you do finally taste the wine it does not disappoint, I enjoyed how it had a sense of fruit beyond what I normally expect from a petite sirah.

Roshambo Rock 2005
A very shallow wine that starts off with great expectations but fails to deliver. The color is excellent and it has a nice aroma that has a hint of spice. But once you taste the wine it falls flat with no continuing taste or complexity.

A Great Syrah, that has a great aroma, mouth feel and most importantly taste. It is not overpowering and can be paired with light foods with no problems.

This was a wonderful surprise for me!!!! It was my first time tasting a Viognier and I found it to be a bit sweet and spicier then a Sauvignon Blanc.........and more complex. We had it with a Crab and Pea Rissotto which was a wonderful complement.I would serve this again, especially in the summer months!! A bit of spice, a bit of fruit, some sweetness and a clean finish!!!

We were expecting at this price point a wine of much more complexity. Although the noase was vary Bordeaux stylethe mouth feel was approprity dry but with no finish. This you were left high and dry.

We bought this as a future and just opened the first bottle!!! We were pleasantly surprised with the great aroma lifting from the open bottle. We let it rest for about 20 minutes and poured the first glass. GREAT LEGS, a nice spicey aroma and taste. We also liked the fact that it had a long finish with hints of rasperry and current.
