    Dull brick red with burnt orange rim, aromas of dried cherries, plums and red berries with baking spices, dried stone fruits, earth and leather with baking spice on palate with focused, balanced personality to a long finish. The BOMB! This '04 Reserva is still available from some specialty retailers. Don't pass up on this great value food wine from Apulia!

    Straw bright, dull aromas of mangoes and pear,with yellow apple, mango on the front end, but wait...mid-palate the oak overwhelms, then the sharp acidity...where did the fruit and balance go...not a particularly graceful exit.

    Bright plum hue presents plum/berry jam aromas with a hint of forest greens, on the palate its licking the spoon of scrapings from the plum jam pot, bright and ripe with a hint of astringency framed by sweet wood. Long finish, and a great match to polenta with mushroom ragu.

    Clear, dull straw color, aromas of pears, stone fruit and diesel, on the palate its a luscious peach pit on a slate stick wrapped in lanolin, with terrific balance, and acidity. Long finish. I found this gem at Trader Joe's and I'm going back for more. Chinese tonite!!

    Opaque ruby hue, aromas of cherry bark, stone fruits and herbs, cherry and plum, with hint of orange peel, supported by tight, focused tannin and good acid, to a long and savory finish.

    Bright garnet with aromas of red fruits, earth spice and forest floor, plums, cherries and black raspberries framed by sweet wood and focused tannins on the palate, leading to a modest, but clean finish.

    Bright straw hue, aromas of tropical fruits and herbaceous green melon, mango, papaya, green apple notes lifted by lively acidity, with a moderate and clean finish. Good food wine for light dishes.

    Bright cherry color, aromas of black cherries and wet stone, palate notes of grape juju fruits with chalk dust supported by moderate acid, to a short finish. It needs a picnic basket.

    Clear straw bright, with green apple, pineapple, petrol aromas, oily fruit cocktail and wet rock minerality on the fruit sweet palate with good acid, and lingering finish. Drank like peach juice with a pickled onion, citrus and arugula salad.
