    Ibn Shisha's Review:

Superb value. Vintner studied in champagne region. This is not overly dry (a plus in my book), but not overly sweet, either. Balanced. Mild acid. Big, bold hits of apple and citrus. Chill and enjoy!

  • Ibn Shisha's Review:

I didn't have this with grilled sausages or Parrillada Mixta, but I did have it with a rather gamy petite filet, and I think I would have been nowhere near as satisfied with the meal without this wonderful Malbec. Soft, sumptuous, smoky and sweet. Very complex. Cassis, blackberry, charcoal and warm spices on the nose. Very fruity and sweet, trailing into minerals and light tannins. Really a very nice wine. Definitely top on my list next time I'm shopping for Malbec.

    Ibn Shisha's Review:

Full-bodied yet soft on the palate and the stomach. Hints of cherry and vanilla.

  • Ibn Shisha's Review:

Another great coppola wine that manages their trademark combination of being full-bodied yet smooth and easy to drink.

Very light after decanting. Subtle notes of pepper spice up the soft aromas and palate.

    Ibn Shisha's Review:

A nice, reasonably priced dessert wine (I got it for $13.99). Massive floral nose with orange blossom. Apricots and peaches on the tongue.

    Ibn Shisha's Review:

Nice dark ruby color, legs go down quick but leave a little bit of an oily residue. The nose is heavy and sweet, almost port-like, with dark fruits, caramel and leather. Tart mouth feel, not overly heavy. Notes of typical red/black fruits, along with caramel and brown sugar, while the long tail slowly turns to acid. Quite an enjoyable shiraz for the price. Recommended with richly sauced steaks or roasts, or a fruity duck dish. Even could be used for dessert, either on its own, or paired with a dessert incorporating both fruit and chocolate, or a rich compote.

    Ibn Shisha's Review:

Not completely clear in the glass. Refreshing mouth feel, though pretty acidic. Very faint nose, especially chilled. Tropical fruits and spices.

  • Ibn Shisha's Review:

Deep garnet black in the glass, slow legs. Nice black cherry nose. Heavy in the mouth, chocalate covered berries, acidic tail. Great cab for the price, especially 50% at World Market.

  • Ibn Shisha's Review:

A great dessert wine, now available at Trader Joe's. Dark, rich and sweet, with notes of berry, cassis, grape jelly, chocolate and spice.
