    Solid Oregon Pinot ... in fact I think this is better pinot than some of the better known names. Very burgundian in style with silkiness and a nice earthiness with good layers of red fruit.

    I'm lucky in that the Dashe Cellar is right around the corner from my place in Oakland. It makes very easy to go over and pick up wine. Their Riesling is awesome. This an awesome wine to pair with spicy and zesty food. Great fruit flavors that offset the heat.

    This is an elegant wine that is food friendly and is a great combination for a wide variety of foods. It has improved with age and is probably close to it's peak. I love this wine ... then again, I am a bit biased, I know the wine maker of it!
