    Grape Juice's Review:

Far too young to be fully appreciated at this stage. Taut acidity, red fruit focus, keen minerally edge. Needs time and plenty of it, one or two years minimum.

  • Grape Juice's Review:

Les Baronnes is always reliable. Gooseberry, steely, grassy...somehow manages to be both somewhat opulent and nicelyl refined. Clean, bright and nicely textured from voluptuous fruit attack to mouthwatering lemon tang finish. Was awesome with two separate dinners: fancy pants mussels fettucini in a white wine and butter sauce, and cheap'n'easy comfort food, tuna melts with mac & potato salad.Producer Info: http://www.henribourgeois.com/Closhenri/en/fiches/ficheVin.php?id=11

    Grape Juice's Review:

Enticingly aromatic nose of sweet pear, spice, granny smith apple, steel and musk melon. The best way to describe it would be to call it "fresh". On the palate, the crisp minerality and strong acidic backbone bolstered softer floral citrus notes. Warm finishing, but still refreshing, this wine was a perfect summer patio wine. Very good!

  • Grape Juice's Review:

On the nose, green apple and pear were the dominant scents that we could pick out, with a tiny hint of vanilla. The apple notes carried over onto the palate, where the smoothness of the wine was complimented by a bit of citrus bite and a slightly smoky undertone.

  • Grape Juice's Review:

On the nose was a very, very nice mix of a floral peach and melon, accompanied by a sweet honeysuckle and faint banana. On the palate, the melon tones carried over very smoothly, making for a mellow tropical taste that was refreshingly complimented by a citric, grapefruity finish. One of the nice things about this wine is that it gave the impression of sweetness, while still being dry.

Fresh cut grass, gooseberry, fresh herbs. Subtle vanilla notes from a short stint in American oak barrels.

  • Grape Juice's Review:

It smelled absolutely delicious, built on a strong citrus backbone with a crisp apple accompaniment rather like cider that was saved from being harsh by a balancing bit of Bosc pear (say that three times fast). At a sugar code of (2), it was slightly sweet, but very citrusy and refreshing on the palate.
