Enjoyed this wine with a New Zealand Lamb Rack, brussel sprout risotto, and green beans with pancetta at a steakhouse. It is an extremely powerful and fragrant wine, really taken aback by the first few sips. As dinner progressed the taste mellowed out, definitely favoring raspberries and some citrus elements. May be better to allow it to age a bit more, definitely needed to breathe a bit before consumption as well.

This was an unusual Chardonnay, as it isunoaked and maintained a fruitier, sweeter flavor than most. I am not a big Chardonnay fan, but this one was distinctive enough to recommend. This site calls it "dry" but there are certainly far dryer Chardonnays on the market.

Enjoyed this rare white meritage, blending the crispness of a Sauvignon Blanc with the mellowness of a Semillon, achieving a Chardonnay like smoothness without the heavy syrup-like taste from some chardonnays. Deep golden color with the grasslike scent of the Sauvignon Blanc coming through.

Enjoyed this 2008 Sauvignon Blanc from Chile, second bottle of it we've had. Sauvignon Blanc is my favorite white, and this offered the typical crisp grassy flavor of the varietal, powerful but lacking the syrupy nature of Chardonnay's.
