    Fenderbaum's Review:

Nice red colour, a little opaque around the edges. Very grassy and mossy on the nose. Like freshly cut grass almost. The earthiness stays on the first tasting. However a little hot on the back a not a lot of fruit, although not necessarily a bad thing. Decent for the price.

    Fenderbaum's Review:

This wine was great - which is something I honestly wasn't expecting. A really good nose - very fragrant and smooth. That's a word I would use A LOT to describe this wine. Nice hints of vanilla on the nose. Really nice strawberries and cream hit on the front that rounded off nicely - good tannins. I would recommend this wine. Smooooooth.

Actually, disappointingly ordinary from Wolf Blass. Very little on the nose. Quite bland for a Cabernet Sauvignon. Some hints of cherry on the mid palate but a little too hot on the back. Might be better with a little decanting but don't expect a lot with this one.

    Fenderbaum's Review:

Yeah this was a wonderful wine. Straight away with the nose - very powerful and forceful. Spicy and hints of bacon. Very rounded on the palate. A big hit of dark, dark chocolate on the mid and a wonderful finish - very smooth and velvety. Be careful - this wine will be drank fast!

2008. Dark satin colour, a little opaque around the edges. Not much of a nose, some fruit but undefined. Some plum notes on the palate. A little dry, decent on the mid palate but very sharp on the back end. Would probably work as a pizza wine. Quite drinkable but unremarkable.

  • Fenderbaum's Review:

This is a really good Chardonnay. If you are expecting a big fruity, oakey wine then this isn't for you. The texture of the wine is far more earthy. Good minerality that you would come to expect from the Burgogne, albeit from the pinor noir side of things. An abundance of citrus with solid acidity, this was quite a find.

  • Fenderbaum's Review:

Nice bright ruby red colour on this. Lingering nose, very plummy. An extremely dry wine, this one almost sticks to your teeth. Good on the mid palate, with decent tannins (good pucker on the back cheeks). Lots of sour cherry going on with this wine as well.

Very good chardonnay. Deep yellow colour and excellent nose. Very warm and buttery with nice vanilla on the mid-palate.
