Added Feb 11, 2012 at 10:41pmIt might be considered by many to be "manufactured and marketed" but personally I like it enormously and don't care that it is branded above it's station. Great smooth, delicious wine that most people cannot get anywhere near achieving. Really good in my book, not stupendous, but really good.

Silver Range Malbec 2009
Added Feb 11, 2012 at 8:40pmNose: A warm enveloping aroma like a basket of semi ripe cherries left in the shade of a tree to warm under the falling late afternoon sun, the clank of hoes as workers tend the last rows of the mountain vineyard. Scents of warm bark, dusty soil and ripening fruit. Taste: Aggressive in the mouth, young cherries, hints of dark nutty cocoa, broad tannic appeal, short finish. Probably better with food. Had food. Changed my mind. It is like a rude 19 year old with good looks and no brains.

Added Jan 8, 2011 at 7:06pmAccording to my father reminds him of Petrus - flavors from every angle, complex. On second tasting I would have to agree. I am wishing I was 10 years older so I could really enjoy what this wine has to offer. As far as I am aware only available from http://www.domaineofthebee.com/

Added Dec 12, 2010 at 2:53pmEnjoyable, light, flavors evaporate fast, drink quickly with meats and cheeses. Probably Brie and a crunch celery stick.
