I usually don't drink Riesling because of the tendency for it to be overly sweet, but this one was not so, and definitely worth trying another glass.

GREAT value for your $, especially if you want a more affordable option in non BYOB restaurants that have it. Had it at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and it stood up well to our steaks. Liked it enough to buy 2 bottles for the rack at home.

Liked this so much we bought 5 more bottles. Should have gotten a case. Don't confuse it for the Martha's Vineyard version, I can't speak for that one. But this one was a great value - on sale for $30 per bottle. One note from the wine school - if you have them, drink them, they won't get better from here on out.

The only wine currently in my cellar that even comes close is the 98 Heitz Cellars Bella Oaks Vineyard Cab. There are no harsh edges, and the nose is so good you almost forget to stop smelling and start drinking.

Gently touched with oak? Really? Maybe they waved the oak over top of the vat... I admit, I am not a chardonnay lover anyway, but I just don't understand how it has acquired such a fanatical following - because it's French and affordable? I don't know. My husband likes it too, poor soul. Well, he can drink our bottle on his own. I will be cracking the Chateau St. Michelle Chardonnay or the Cline Viognier that night.

Maybe it's the fact that it has a good bit of Zinfandel - that it is better than I expected. I bought it because I just kind of liked the idea of the truck being pink. I NEVER buy a rose or blush wine unless it is a sparkler (and even then...) But I did, and now I am glad, becuase it's a nice alternative to white wines on a warm evening when you want something with a stronger chill on it. Off-dry, definitely taste a lot of fruit in this one.

This is just nice, nice, nice. I find most bruts just a little TOO dry for my taste, so this was just about perfect.
