Added May 3, 2013 at 9:58amWonderful blend of Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot, this powerful wine has a strong nose and would benefit from decanting and sitting a while before being consumed. On the nose is an oaky vanilla with notes of blueberry, plum, black and dark fruit. In the mouth it is meaty and peppery with hints leather, tar, and tobacco. Aggressive, chewy tannins.

Added Apr 27, 2013 at 10:56amI found this to be a very lively quaff with lots of acid and note of red cherry and raspberry. It drinks very much like a zippy pinot noir. Not a whole lot of balance, however.

Added Apr 13, 2013 at 5:11pmWonderful mixture of Tempranillo plum and cherry fruit with gentle, but classic, Rioja oak accents. The aromas and flavors are very nice, sitting atop a texture and structure that makes those flavors sing. It’s luxurious, round, and velvety in your mouth, all without any hint of heaviness. The tannins and acids are more than soft enough for sipping, but have just the right power to pair wonderfully with food.
