Initially very dry, actually wicks the moisture from your mouth, but quickly reveals hints of plum and smoked meats. Rather watery. At least you can reuse the rather interesting bottle.

Overall very easy to drink. Soft velvety texture. Has long smooth finish leaving a berry-like finish. Vanilla and cream readily apparent.

Tannic. A bit harsh at first then mellows at the finish. Hints of berry, occasional burst of cherry.

Disappointing. Tannic with little fruit but does have a hint of mint. Rather shallow.

Very pleasing. Great full plum taste, rich tannins with a lingering hint of coffee. Better to drink this one on its own, food ( roast chicken at least), diminishes the fullness.
