The bouquet is ripe plum and blackberry, and then you taste wonderful earthy flavors, plus just a hint of coffee. The finish goes on and on. Truly wonderful.

Didn't have the real earthy, gamey qualities that I love about Pinotage, but still a great wine with dark berry flavors and ripe tannins

While the description says "flavors of tropical fruit, butter, and freshly baked bread," I also tasted hints of what I would call "fall spices" - nutmeg, allspice, maybe even a hint of cinnamon. Wonderful!

I think this vintage is past its prime. Still enjoyable, but would probably reccomend a more recent vintage if you can find it.

Interesting chard. Woody -- almost something cedar about it. Unlike most big, buttery California chards. There are others I like better for a smaller pricetage, though.
