If you really want to know the full potential of Madeira wines, this is the place to start. The 5 and 10-year old wines are nice, but I don't think they quite fully portray the power and finesse that Madeira has....certainly not like this. Deep reddish brown with a tan rim. On the nose a lot of toffee and spice with some allspice and caramel notes coming through. On the palatte - raisins and prunes and some nuttiness and more toffee. The finish goes on for minutes. It reminds me a lot of Colheita (vintage tawny) ports that are 40 years old or older, but this (being a Madeira) is still distinctly different. I paid a bit under $200 for my bottle and I think it's a good buy at that price point. --A

WOW. If you have any doubt about Lebanon producing amazing wines, pop open a bottle of this! Earthy, spicy, bold - best after being open about 20 mins to breathe. This is wonderful on its own, but is a perfect wine to pair with food. It will not disappoint. And at the price of $12 to $15 per bottle......they're crazy. I'd pay $20. Can't wait to try their Gold selection.
