Well made with nice ripe fruit and good Rhone herb undercore but not terribly complex and way overpriced compared to other '05 CdP of similar quality. Not in the Pegau, Beaucastel, Clos des Papes circle although the price is.

very ripe jammy red fruits, raspberry, kirsch, almost candied with little earthiness to balance. ripe fruit obscures the terroir of CdP but enjoyable none the less. Perhaps it will come around with a little age. In the meantime there are so many great '05 CdPs it's hard to miss.

Ripe plummy fruit with tell-tale dill and coconut from American oak. A good Silver Oak but it is what it is. Not worth the premium when there are somany good Napa cabs.

good concentration with lots of black cherries and currant. well made with soft tannins and nice minerality. Superior to many Napa cabs at a much higher price.
