Added Nov 17, 2008 at 11:13amWaugh Cellars has started to become one of my Favorite Wineries in Sonoma. This pinot has a huge body, right away you can smell the alcohol on the nose but once you decant the aromas start to flurish the glass. you can smell cherries, chocolate, a hint of coffee, and a touch of plum. Goes great with a nice classic steak or lamb.

Added Nov 13, 2008 at 4:33pmBig nose once you first cork the wine, however I found it to be a slim body for a Bordeaux. Can smell the earth, dirt, and must of a typical Bordeaux but lacks the great pallet taste. Not bad to have around the house for people who don't know good wine but like Bordeaux's

A To Z 2006
Added Oct 29, 2008 at 4:05pmThis is a solid Oregon Pinot Nior, it shows that Oregon can produce well made Pinot, however it isn't the best I have had from there. The body is full and the nose has nice aromas, very fruity. I would keep a few around for people who like Pinot Noir.

Added Sep 29, 2008 at 1:24pmNot a very strong nose, a lot of must and earth, not a lot of fruit. Had a beautiful color and smooth finish, maybe needs a good time to open. Not one of the better wines I have tasted in awhile.

Added Sep 11, 2008 at 10:16pmHad this dinner with a blackened swordfish tonight and it went very well, didn't need any time to open or develop. Very smooth pallet and pleasant nose, can taste the tannins but over time the oxygen masks them and the fruit is exposed. Good Cali Cab.
