    Aussie Whino's Review:

24 Oct 09Really nice drop. When I first opened it, smelled a little 'brassy' and thought it needed to be put down a little longer. First sip was a bit 'young' and acidic for my liking. However, after a few sips and it had a chance to breathe, really enjoyed the subtleties. I have to admit, I didn't bother decanting it (who does!?)For a die-hard muted merlot fan (not big on tannins or big brassy, american style wines) this really opened my tongue up to a nice, different, sharper wine with tangy, peppery flavours and (for me) a hint of berries in the aftertaste.Went down nice with a lamb roast, second half went down even nicer with a cold tuscan (basil, garlic, olive oil & salt) pasta the next day at lunch time, especially after it had a chance to breathe.Excellent.
