    Atterrissage's Review:

This wine had the beautiful garnet color that a mature Nebbiolo should. On the nose, the aromas were intensely earthy with notes of violets, mushroom, moss and leather and undertones of bright sour cherry fruit. The acidity is still very high, suggesting there are more years left in this bottle. The wine is lacking a bit of structure and weight to balance the acidity, but overall this was a lovely wine and a great value compared to a peer Barolo.

    Atterrissage's Review:

Nice pale gold color with anise and honey on the nose, Meyer lemon (almost tangerine) citrus on the palate with honey and ripe pear, almost nutty on the finish. Showed that nice crisp Chenin acidity. If you like white Burgundy, this is a good approximation for much less.

    Atterrissage's Review:

This was not at all what you would expect from a typical Chablis - it was more like a California Chard. Instead of steely minerality and crisp citrus, this was pineapple, vanilla and melon with a golden color and a buttery texture, which would seem to belie oak and a much warmer climate than one finds in Chablis. Not sure what the explanation for this is, but it's not what I am hoping for when I uncork a Chablis.
