    ArturSalazar's Review:

Did not find butyric acid. I found Gazela Rose to be a a lively, refreshing, young and floral light wine. In the mouth, it is well-balanced with a soft and slightly fizz finish. Best when chilled and perfect for a light meal.

On the whole, it is a fresh and seductive wine with fine and intense bouquet and all the joviality of young wines. In the mouth, it is a well balanced and tempting wine, brilliantly complemented by a soft and slightly fizzy finish. It is ideal as an aperitif and also goes very well with light meals, several types of fish and seafood, white meat, grilled dishes and salads. Its unique characteristics make it also ideal with pasta and other Italian cuisine. Pairs magnificently with several styles of oriental cuisine - Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Thai. ArturSalazar's Review:

An intense, deeply flavoured 40 year old Tawny, with a massive bouquet suggesting vanilla, oak and honey, and a mouthful of very complex flavours of dried fruits, spices, and nuts. As the wine unfolds smoothly and develops in the mouth, one discovers a superb balance of wood ageing and vibrancy. Sandeman 40 Years Old Tawny Porto earned top ratings - 93 points - in Wine Enthusiast last year.

    ArturSalazar's Review:

Callabriga Alentejo 2006 is a red-violet coloured wine. Very intense aroma, dominated by black plum, vanilla and cinnamon. Full bodied, Callabriga Alentejo 2006 has lively, firm tannins, and a robust finish. This wine was awarded a Great Gold Medal at the Berliner Wein Trophy in Germany this year.

    ArturSalazar's Review:

Barca Velha 1999 has a bright red, deep and very intense hue and a remarkable bouquet. The prevailing aromas are those of very ripe fruit (blackberry, plum and cassis), flowers (violet), spices (vanilla, pepper), balsam (cedar) and other components made more complex through the evolution in the bottle (pharmacy and iodine aromas, etc.). On the palate it has an excellent balance between alcohol and acidity with a lingering, fine, elegant and delicate finish. Its body and great structure will provide it with a remarkable longevity. Its apogee? Perhaps 15-20 years after the vintage. It is ready for drinking.
