Added Mar 3, 2013 at 1:09pmFrom the first sip at a wine show I fell in love with this wine. A cloudy (unfiltered) dark deep ruby red color, a myriad of aromas kept coming out in phases as it opened up: Asian spices, dried apricots and blueberries, candied fruit, cinnamon. WOW! Just the right amount of structure and tannins up front, full-bodied, mouth covering, and long finish. Very interesting wine from a small producer at an unbelievably low price!

Added Mar 3, 2013 at 12:57pmWhen I first tried this vintage when if first came out it seemed too tart and young but with patience, in 2013 it has turned into a significant example of Dolcetto. Unique, elegant and structured, this dolcetto blew my mind! Coming from pre-phylloxera vines, this is truly a special treat for me:)

Added Feb 10, 2013 at 7:39ampale yellow with subtle aromas of candied citrus fruit and cinnamin applesauce. On the palate it was nice and fresh with pleasant minerality and a savoury finish.
