It's not the type of wine to inspire a deep philosophical discussion or a lot of insightful notes about flavor or anything like that. It's just a nice sipping wine. It's tasty, it's not expensive and I enjoyed it while cooking dinner.

A nice New Zealand SB. Full tropical fruit flavors. This is a good example of the distinct NZ style.

Great value summer sipper, good for a patio party with light fare. A little tart on the finish. Served with lobster salad and corn-on-the-cob. Acidity, lemons, some floral. I paid $12 for a magnum.

This is my first wine from Macedonia! Deep purple hue with a surprisingly crisp, light bodied taste. Crisp red fruit, strawberry and cherry. First thought was like a Zinfandel, but lighter. Pairs well with lamb - our server said "That's because they only eat lamb in Macedonia"

Though this wine was quite enjoyable, I feel like it fell short of other Bordeaux, especially 2005 Bordeaux wines that I've had. Improved with decanting. Earthy with subtle tannins.
