an initial punch of pineapple aroma which quickly opens into that French classic 'pencil shavings' that nearly takes over. Nicely balanced with apple and pear. Easy to drink. I really enjoyed it

Enjoyed this champagne with a group of my girlfriends on a celebratory night out. Perfect for the cool autumn evening by the river Thames in Windsor, England. Crisp, honey backnotes, with hints of citrus and a rather obvious hit of pear. Not the lightest champagne I've had, but certainly clean, concise and to the point. A simple, yet layered and lovely champagne. Would certainly order again.

My boyfriend brought this wine back for me after a trip to Marseilles. Always excited to open a Bordeaux, I suppose my expectations may have set too high a bar for this one. That said however, it was still a lovely wine and very enjoyable. The wine has a very delicate bouquet and tastes of plum and chocolate stand out most. Lovely and mellow, it stood up to its name. Despite it's relatively light body, it still held up nicely to the rosemary and blue cheese stuffed-flank steak wrapped in pancetta. This wine would also work nicely as a cocktail wine if you didn't want to pair it.

My boyfriend and I have considered a working holiday in Perth, Australia which of course spurred my interest in the Margaret River Wine region of Western Australia. A random trip to the store and a peripheral glance landed me on this charming little find of a wine. I sampled it with a nice Ossau-Iraty cheese and found it absolutely divine. A surprising treat. It consisted of very ripe fruits with a slight spice in the front which was followed by a long yet clean finish. The slight hints of oak was lovely with the rich taste of mulberries and a floral aroma. Certainly a thumbs up to Australia for a great cab and an all around steal for quality to price.
