Added Aug 16, 2011 at 11:02amThought I was kind of "over" Sauvignon Blanc, but this was delicious! Had an older vintage I was convinced would be over the hill, but flavors meshed elegantly and finished well. Green apple with toasted sesame flavors, slightly buttery, but not over the top. Was fantastic with scallops.

Added Aug 16, 2011 at 10:53amI was dying for a light red with my summer pasta. This was perfect! Gave it a slight chill. Bursting with raspberry/cherry flavors and aromas, a little hint of smoked ham on the palate, dark chocolate and some spicyness. Flavors were present, but not too intense. Really good bang for buck bottle!

Added Aug 16, 2011 at 10:47amSoft and toasty with some white peach flavors. Nicely rounded and flavorful. To me this tastes more like a dry Pinot Gris style from Alsace than an Italian Pinot Grigio (same grape, but different styles). The oaky-toastiness is what gives it away.

Banfi le Rime 2010
Lists: Pinot Grigio/Gris
Added Aug 16, 2011 at 10:44amOne of the more peachy Pinot Grigios I've tasted. If you like some fruityness with your PG, this is the one. Good acidic balance. Very pleasant to drink.

Added Aug 16, 2011 at 10:40amAnother Pinot Grigio I kinda like (believe me it's rare). This one has pronounced pear, peach and lemon flavors. Very clean finish. An easy summer sipper.

Added Aug 8, 2011 at 12:51pmBrought home a bottle after tasting it at the winery a couple of weeks ago. Very unusual style of rose, released after aging instead of young. Oxidized in a more Spanish style, earthy and funky. A fun change from the typical roses on the market. Really like what One Woman is up to. Keep 'em coming!

Added Aug 8, 2011 at 12:47pmHas some interesting aromas and fruit notes. Pear, green apple, lemon but also something reminiscent of a sesame bagel, which is so not a complaint. I like my Pinot Grigios to have some layers to them, and this fits the bill.

Added Aug 8, 2011 at 12:44pmThis has surprising fruit on it for a Pinot Grigio. Some pear and apple notes on top of the typical lemony, minerally balance. Has a little body to it, but still refreshing.
Jul 18, 2011 at 1:17pm
Added Jul 18, 2011 at 1:16pmThis is the 2008 vintage. Sampled is over the course of two nights. When first opened the Cabernet Franc profile was strong, but sippable. The herbal notes and acidic fruit went well with Middle Eastern delicacies. On its own the next night the herbal qualities felt too overpowering to sip on its own. But it's not a bad little wine, just needs food.
