Added Apr 17, 2012 at 6:32pmDeep, dark fruits with a cassis sweetness and some dark chocolate. Subtle oak with enough earth to round out the sweetness. Very sippable and I'm guessing pretty awesome at a cookout.

Added Apr 17, 2012 at 6:27pmVery fruit forward, which isn't always a bad thing. But what rubbed me the wrong way is that despite some nice pomegranate and rhubard nuances, there was a lot of dried fruit (prunes, dates) and not enough acidity.

Cliff Creek Claret 2006
Added Apr 17, 2012 at 11:04amVery lively and flavorful. Slightly toasty, but not overpowering with the vanilla notes. Tart black cherry with a decent acid balance. Great sipper on its own, but would also make a versatile food wine.

Added Jul 18, 2011 at 1:20pmThis is really impressive! Well balanced off dry style. Pleasant notes of lemon, peach and white flowers. Kind of reminded me of a tart lemon meringue pie. Would be awesome with Chinese food.

Average Price: $54.97
Added Apr 9, 2012 at 10:04amFruit forward and concentrated, but just enough hit of earth to stop it from being too syrupy sweet and overly big. Dark cherries, cassis, a bit of dark chocolate, mossy notes. A great sipper on its own and lots of pairing potential.
