Just a regular 9 to 5 guy who has a beer budget and champagne taste. I look for for good wines that are a good value. Some of my favorites are Zinfandel, Oregon Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Rhone. I also like German and German style Rieslings

This is very similar to a Riesling Spatlese. It has medium sweetness with enough acidity to give it good balance. On the nose you will find tropical fruits, honey, citrus, and slight floral aromas. On sipping this wine, apricots, mangos, pineapple, and pear flavors come out. A very good wine from Minnesota. It exceeded all expectations

This is a nice red wine. Fruity with good acid, not too tannic or complex. Very pleasant if you're looking for a very fruity wine

Decent inexpensive Pinot Noir with cherry and raspberry up front with a medium light body and a short finish. Goes well with a nice salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing and toasted pecans

Very typical of Arngentenian Malbec. Makes a decent porch wine to drink while snacking on some sharp cheddar and pistachios

OK wine. Very rich and robust with a lot of dark fruit. Not complex at all. Not a wine to bring to a nice dinner party if you're trying to impress anyone

One dimentional with flavors of cough syrup intermingled with overipe jammy fruits. One dimensional and a bit harsh

Really good pinot noir from the true Sonoma Coast. Nice aroma'a of concentrated red fruits along with hints of vanilla. In the mouth it is very smooth and balanced with very fine, well integrated, tannins. Flavors of cherry raspberry along with slight spice and anise notes. An excellent value at under $30

This is another great pinot noir from Cristom. I have a slight preference to the 2007 Eileen Vineyard over the Jessie Vineyard, both unquestionably great pinot noir. The 2007 Eileen Vineyard pinot noir is very smooth without a single sharp edge. Everything is in perfect balance. Upon opening the bottle, the beatiful aromas come at you. Raspberries, strawberries, dark cherries along with some floral and spice notes. The wine tastes of cherries, plums, strawberries, and a hints of blue berries. Soft notes of cocoa and baking spice complete the flavors. The finish is silky, pleasant, and long lasting
