Very good Pinot; nice full range of flavors, beginning with black cherries and port, finishing with wonderful tannins and mild pepper.

Fruitier than most Tuscan blends , probably owing to a bit of Syrah in the mix. Some nice tannins and mild acidity make it pleasant to drink, a good wine to enjoy with pasta and red sauce or grilled beef.

A rich and complex white wine demonstrating a broad range of flavors--grapefruit to honey, and everything in between--balanced with soft minerals and a little acidity. Bring this one to blind tasting and enjoy watching the reactions you get when people first try it. Very unique, very stylish.

This poured from the bottle very purple, giving me some pause as to what was to follow. And my first sip or two after decanting was a bit dusty, but given hand an hour or so in the air and each sip got better and better. This is a good wine, that begins very much with a prune flavor, and follows with lilac and mild herbs, finishing with a very satisfying and mild mineral bitterness. I'm having it this evening with a lentil and beef suasage stew, and the two are doing well together.

This wine from the base of the alps fills the nose with smoke and moss, followed by a flavors that remind of Blaufrankisch and Zweigelt wines of near-by Austria, but more mellow and a wider range of tastes. Very much a food wine but enjoyable to sip and savor.

Pours into the glass with a garnet to ruby color and long legs, giving off a full nose of warm prunes and a hint of whiskey. Drinks with lots of fruit, somewhat like a Zinfandel, with a mild finish and just a little spice on the end. A wine to enjoy with a charred rare duck breast drizzled with a reduction of juices pressed from the roasted carcass of the duck, stewed with some rosemary and orange peel.

A very nice wine, mellow, with balance. A great sipper that would go well with meat dishes and many others.

This wine is good, but ordinary. A non-descript nose, with a heavy middle flavor that can't be described in terms of fruit, minerals, or anything else. Its a drinkable table wine, and would probably smother a nice piece of venison or poultry in a flavorful reduction with garlic, woody herbs, and some tasty mushrooms. Can't put it on recommend list; wouldn't discourage a person from giving it a try. At $10.00 per bottle or less, its not priced badly; however, to my taste, there are plenty of better reds in the same range.
