    97mjr's Review:

Highly anticipated, but underwhelmed. Very good wine. Sweet tannins, nice flavor profile, but a little too Aussie for me.

[C&F-LBK, Shrimp Encha] Bright gold color. Pineapple, lemon, nice acidity on the finish. Great balance; no overwhelming oak. However, leaves you wanting just a little more.

    97mjr's Review:

[LBK] Nice blend of MGS. Beautiful aromas of raspberry, licorice, and sweet spice; on the palate, licorice, saddle leather, raspberry, and spice, some tannins; initially some herbs which lessened over time. Lacked significant texture at first but improved later; for $16 excellent stuff. (**)

    97mjr's Review:

[Rhapsody, Chi] Thick, full bodied pino.t Highly acid, with red fruit, black cherries, tannic. Lacks balance, needs some time to settle down. But good QPR

    97mjr's Review:

[Philip Marie] Aromas of blackberry, cherry, and vanilla. Great texture, tannins are not overwhelming. On the palate, blackberry, cherry, almond, oak/coconut, and vanilla. I like this wine more every time. It is simple and New World. This is NOT a classic Rhone wine. In fact, those who are into Rhone wines will find this abhorrent. However with its great fruit and texture; it is much better than 95-99% of the Cali syrahs that I have tasted.

    97mjr's Review:

[Gramercy Tavern: portobello, rabbit] Deep purple color. On the nose, licorice, dried flowers, smoke. Lush on the palate, licorice, dark berries, and expresso with nicely integrated tannins. Lingers in the background with a nice length. A low maintenence wine; reasonable value, ready to drink, and needs no decanting.
