    22415brewery's Review:

Surprisingly structured for the economic price. One can sense a variety of layers to be experienced, as with all others, good aeration is what can set this merlot apart from the ordinarily cheap.A well-structured merlot, it is lacking in depth and complexity. A good rtw, seemingly thin, that lives up to its very low but pleasing expectations. You get what you pay for, and in this instance perhaps we "get" a little more.

Definitely not the best PN on here. 2007 has shown to be a very tricky year for Oregon Pinot Noir. Rain was especially heavy toward the end of the season creating very affected grapes. This example is no different.A thin body is followed by an almost astringent sourness, very little fruit character can shine through the immensely mouth-puckering aftertaste. What a shame.

    22415brewery's Review:

Pretty and fun tropical fruits are quite apparent in the nose with a quite apparent hit of oak. A full dare I say unctious mouthfeel follows with a semi-dry finish. The light oaking hints of refined tobacco, touches of green capsicum, and a subtle spice....and quite long in the nose with a light bit of icing sugar. A slight bittering in the finish rounds out the apparent sweetness.Well made with no off flavors. On sale for $13 a bottle is a bargain.

Typical mass-production Riesling from Oz. VERY upfront notes of lemon and lime with an almost cloying honey-like sweetness in the finish. This Riesling could be attenuated just a touch more, the sweetness is sharp and the finish almost comes off as solventy and a bit 'hot'.It's affordable, but missing the finer, more delicate characteristics of similarly priced, high-production Aussie Rieslings; i.e. Jacob's Creek.

    22415brewery's Review:

Could it be?100% Cabernet Franc in the Yakima Valley? This would ultimately beg the question of, who in their right mind would possibly attempt to present let alone bottle this obscure and often-blended varietal?06' was an excellent hot year in the valley and this 100% Cab Franc displays nuances and delicacy that is not often found in this region's highly celebrated Cabs.Displaying a richly brilliant violet of a Pinot Noir, one instantly finds a medium-full mouthfeel and picks up notes of savory bing cherries, slight cassis, interlaced with herbs followed by a silky milk chocolate finish. I originally picked this one up as an experiment in a 100% varietal tasting. Now I'm liking it and am considering a 3 hour drive to pick up some more.

As much as I would like to talk trash about "blush" wines that cost below $5 per bottle let's remember this...this style was meant to be light, refreshing, fruity, and very casual. This white merlot does it all. Crisp with a bit of sweetness, a bit tropical, and a bit fun. When allowed to warm a bit it gains a slightly bitter finish.

    22415brewery's Review:

I'm not a Chardonnay fan yet this one stands out.Perhaps it is because this has less oak and less butter than most. Almost finishes medium-dry which is a nice change of pace compared to the oaky-popcorn characteristics found in most others.Coconut essence, granny smith apple peel, and cream lace this refreshing chard.

    22415brewery's Review:

Typical Oregon Pinot Noir which means lights out.Well balanced, rounded, and with incredible bing cherry aromas and slight vanilla beans from the oak.Sure to be a crowd pleaser, if you are going to feature just one Pinot then this has got to be the one.

A classic example of a very well made Malbec. Loads of fruit and spice make up this medium-bodied sipper.I like mine during the late spring and early summer perhaps the first time you've undusted and fired up the grill.Enjoy with some crazy chimichurri steaks and don't forget the garlic and peppers!

    22415brewery's Review:

Clean, bitter almonds, slight earth and mineral qualities...similar to the volcanic soil in the region.A great compliment to the acidic and bright flavors/essence of the Lazio region and its cuisine.I enjoy my Frascati young and refreshing. To age it the bitterness becomes more of a chardonnay blanket of basalt.
