Vegetables can be tricky wines to pair with, but luckily sommeliers long-ago adopted the ultimate food wine: Gruner Veltliner. It's crisp acid, but flavorful, spicey palate make it perfect company for even the hardest vegetables such as asparagus and artichoke.
