1 Scherrer Winery Pinot Noir Russian River Valley (2004)

3 Scherrer Winery Zinfandel Alexander Valley Old and Mature Vines Scherrer Vineyard (2010)
Comments: Awesome zin from Russian River. Loads of bright red and blue fruit well balanced with good acidity and silky tannin. As good as it is now it will get better with some age that will take away the slight heat on the nose.
Average price: $29.00 from 1 store

19 Bouchaine Pinot Noir (2010)
Comments: I feel terrible, I opened this bottle way too early. This is going to be a fantastic pinot in five or more years from now. Way too young, green and somewhat bitter but should develop into a big, round, dark fruit, fine tannin expression of Carneros wine in the somewhat distant future. Put this in the back of the cellar.
