Turkey-Time Twists

Everyone's got Thanksgiving wine tips this time of year - but I may be the only guy willing to put together a list that doesn't contain any of the usual favorites - you know, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Zinfandel.

Instead, I've scoured the lesser-appreciated varietals for wines that won't clash with your piled plate of meat, root veggies, greens and other various and sundry foods, and that won't hurt your wallet when Uncle Dave slugs it back like it's the Silver Bullet.

Light and fruity, with a touch of earth and great acidity. Very versatile with food and a great bargain.
