This is green fruited and lightly sweet smelling with a lovely, sweetly vegetal, cut grass undercurrent on the nose. A touch of CO2 helps add brightness on the palate and a little prickle on the tongue. This opens rather broadly on the palate with nice tension, but the fruit is a touch matte. Citrus fruits and cut grass notes on the long, bright, very juicy and decisively acidic finish. The finish is actually quite long here and many will appreciate the wine’s subtlety. 87pts
