  • 484000clutchman How could you miss Kim Crawford's awesome Marlborough, New Zealand version of Sauvignon Blanc. My and most of my friends favorite. Although you have now give me a lot with which to compare

  • 1056203kakpoo Crawford's Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc isn't even in the same league as Dog Point in terms of balance. Crawford is too over-the-top, they've taken everything to level "11" and it feels like a slap in the face compared to what Dog Point produces. That being said, I'd take a Crawford to the beach or a bonfire over Budweiser any weekend.

  • 484000clutchman Well I'm just going to have me a little wine tasting to compare. Thanks for the response and education.

  • 851242Caliope1 Another must taste is 'Capitello Sauvignon Blanc - Walnut Ridge' by Ray Walsh; Its a home run of a wine, usually found for around $20. I love it paired with Cedar planked salmon on the barbecue.

  • 1078668steven mcdowall I'm a big fan of Crawford's SB as well, but now I'll have to try the Dog Point!

  • 1074083PKS100 One of my all time favorites.... Apud Sariacum Sancerre from Philippe Raimbault! Great minerality and freshness! Not a sipper, but sings with the right food (Goat Cheese, Mussels).

  • 540750Zuiko The 2010 Goldwater from NZ is quite good as well. My all time favorite remains from Bordeaux (an older vintage Chateau La Louviere).
