Cotton candy pink! Overt nose with oodles of fruit. Cherry juice, watermelon and cataloupe jump to the forefront. Behind this youthful facade lie cedar and feral notes. This wine sports generous body for a rosé, which isn’t surprising given its 13.5% alcohol. Nonetheless, there’s solid, underlining acidity that keeps the balance in check. No tannins are noticeable until the finish, when some dryness creeps in. Medium finish. A rosé that demands richly flavored food. 13.5%
