30 days in first passage in new barrique, battonage every day, Very aromatic, huge pithy nose, huge tangerine, grapefruit, and mango tinged nose, very floral as well, wood spice comes out with air, rich entry, round, tons of tangerine and grapes ruin fruit on the palate the aromatics does a good job of covering up the wood spice, This has a roundness from the wood, a bIt soft for Alvarinho, but this fairly explodes on the finish with aromatic tangerine an grapefruit fruit built on a mild base of wood spice, long finish wood comes out as the wine warms up, a wine that will wow people at tastings, but not really my style. 91pts
