Rather oaky on the nose with slightly dried dark fruits and melon, peach and citrus pith aromas. A little milky and vanilla accented as well. This is pretty well rounded on entry, though it is rich and very finely balanced. There’s fine ripe fruit here. Peach, orange and vanilla flavors are all underpinned by a nice base of wood spice. Creamy and smooth, this shows fine length and a certain elegance though the sweetness from the wood and vanilla imprint are quite pronounced. 89pts
