1 Steininger Gruner Veltliner Sekt (2009)

2 Nikolaihof Grüner Veltliner (2008)
Comments: What a delicious and thought-provoking wine. Aged in old oak and bottled right off the lees. The result is a wine with a lot of character and flavor. Soft, textured mouthfeel, with citrus notes and something reminiscent of pear. I'd love to try this again in a few more years, as the wines are known to age quite well.
