Profoundly crimson. Like with the Casa Silva above, the first notable thing about the nose of this wine is its freshness. Scents of cedar, açai, blueberry and creosote draw in the taster. On the palate, there is moderate extract, which creates plumpness in the mid-palate. The acidity, however, is pronounced, and the tannins lend a hand to balance with their dustiness. The elevated alcohol is obvious ,yet it does allow for a medium-minus finish.
