Eight months in oak, split between French and Romanian oak Honey, a nice spice and toast top note, focused on entry, nice honey notes on entry but they are light, fresh style, very light creamy edge, bright acids, crisp apple fruit a bit of lemon curd, light pineapple notes not he backend, firm backend, finishes dry and determined, with a little wood tannin adding some mouth grab, fairly aromatic finish with a touch of honeycomb and lightly cooked heirloom apple fruit, toasty notes really linger on finish though they’re neither sweet nor pronounced just very light and elegant. 89pts
