1 Champagne Salon Cuvée S Blanc de Blancs le Mesnil (1999)
Comments: Quite closed when just being poured, once t has opened up a little, lots of meyer lemon and kumquat on the nose, Complex yet fresh champagne with lots of layers and v small bubbles;-) Meyer lemon, turned into kumquat, pomelo, then pink great fruit which turns into a little fresh almond and fejoa, great minerality in the finish. Think this wine will develop more complexity with a few years of cellaring.
