Transplanted from Napa to PIemonte Italy... I blog for a passion about food, wine, and Italian culture. For now just discovering Piemonte one step (sip) at a time with big dreams to do wine tours in Italy. Hopefully I can help with any travel/wine ?'s!
Bel Colle Langhe Nebbiolo DOC (2009)
Comments: Powerful nose for nebbiolo, bursting with red cherry and lush raspberries carried over to the palate. Tannins present, well structured and balanced wine. Impressed with this Nebbiolo although you must eat with it to appreciate it.

Conterno Fantino Langhe Nebbiolo Ginestrino (2009)
Comments: Oh my gosh.. this was like sticking your nose into blackberry jam, sugarless, homemade jam. Fruity without being jammy with a bit of mocha. Full bodied and round with nice acidity and a long finish. Perfect wine to get that Nebbiolo character without having to eat a huge carnivorous meal!
|Average price: $15.11 from 1 store||
Domenico Clerico Langhe Nebbiolo Capisme (2010)
Comments: Not totally bursting with aromas but subtle hints of dried flowers and red fruits. Kept getting better with every sip, nice structure, balanced, soft tannins with all the great flavors of Nebbiolo. Really enjoyed this.
|Average price: $29.95 from 1 store||
